“You are doing a wonderful job Jeremy, a wonderful job, yes indeed, St Margaret would be proud of you my boy.”

“Thank you Prime Minister.”

“Yes you walk tall in her footsteps. She destroyed the coal mines and miners, the British car industry and aviation and got rid of British Steel but not far enough, we have still got to get rid of it. Plus she crippled the union movement and made it all look like it was somebody else’s fault. Now all the foreigners own everything the tanks and aircraft all come from abroad, if we could get General Dynamics to buy BAE systems that would be perfect all the cars are German and Japanese even the French and Indian’s are in there. How do they get things to work when we can’t?”

“They subsidise everything Prime Minister.”

“Oh yes but so do we, but we give it to all our friends in Belize and the Cayman Islands after all they have got to make a profit.”

“I did like the way you screwed up the Lib Dems and Labour with the Scottish referendum. We didn’t have anything to lose there, but they got well shafted.”

“Thank you Jeremy, and now we have the NHS to destroy and you are doing a wonderful job my boy.”

“Do you really think so Prime Minister?”

“Yes my boy, you have a great future ahead of you.  “The Axe Man Cometh”, I can see it now just like in America, get everyone addicted onto heavy opiates and they all commit suicide. With the Junior Doctors on strike G.P’s will be overwhelmed and they will just write millions of prescriptions to get the deadbeats out of their surgeries, what a great start. Then of course we have to use private hospitals, we have no options do we?”

“I have got all our trust fund money into insurance and healthcare companies Prime Minister, we should make an absolute killing if you excuse the pun. We still need to get rid of all those uneducated oiks, plus the Junior Doctors are doing an Arthur Scargill. If only we could get them to riot, we could get the Dragoons in and cut their heads off, gosh if only.”

“Yes, well, perhaps that is a little too far but I like your sentiment, you are doing a superb job Jeremy.”

“Thank you Prime Minister. I was wondering if we could set up our own Guantanamo Bay say on Jersey after all it’s not in the EU and the Court of Human rights wouldn’t have any jurisdiction.”

“Hmm not a bad idea we could send all those communist bastards there.”

“Prime Minister, as George has had those unfortunate problems with his budgets and you will be retiring soon, plus you hate Boris with a vengeance, is it possible that you could support me for the leadership, grovel, grovel?”

“What! No they all hate you Jeremy, nobody will vote for you and I only use you because you are the stupid bastard who will put his head under the guillotine. You as Prime Minister sorry old son, when I go so will you.”

About michaeldouglasbosc

I am retired and live with my wife on a small olive finca in the middle of a forest in the mountains of Spain in Catalonya. I served 9years in the armed services, am an engineer and because of my love of navy sailing ships a naval historian of the 1700-1800's, plus the author of 10 books. When I retired I started writing adult books my first being A Soldiers Wind. Then came Stanley's story again adult books such was his life. Another book on life in the 1950's this very much an adult book. I have now returned to my love of the sea and my latest navy book 'A Plymouth Story' follows the life of Dr James Blackstock. But Clearing In The Forest is an historical fantasy set in the middle ages at the end of King Johns reign. All the books are published on Kindle and Create a Space in paperback. I have worked all my life and for relaxation I sailed a coastal yacht for many years, but deep inside me was a writer waiting to get out. So when I retired I started writing I find story telling both relaxing and - for me - a pleasure.
